![]() ![]() There are some characters, Leila, Tess, Adrien, Mum, Jonty), who appear in both media. ![]() And has NOTHING to do with the Netflix-series. ![]() I just finished the novel and I have to say it's really, really good. The story doesn't work, makes no sense at all, it's incomplete, broken.*** So I bought the book (by Lottie Moggach), not because I liked the series, but to be able to understand what was going on there. And then I watched the last two episodes. I thought it might go in the direction of Tad William's Otherland books I read nearly two decades ago. I thought that a mystery/sci-fi story based around a MMORPG was a pretty cool idea. What is it about Netflix-series based on novels? I watched Altered Carbon, rather liked, but was surprised on reading the novel (I liked the series, so I bought the book or rather all three Takeshi Kovacs-books) about the serious plot-differences.īut these differences are nothing compared to Kiss Me First.* I saw the trailer, got interested and watched the first few episodes actually liking what I saw, intrigued where the story might lead to. ![]()
